Heritage Cut Flooring uses a traditional milling method that utilizes the wood from the entire tree, bark to bark.  The dead standing or fallen trees are tagged and milled vertically onsite by a small group of Amish in Eastern Pennsylvania.  It really doesn't get more authentic than our Heritage Cut flooring and since your wood remains a tree until it's ordered it is impossible to replicate or duplicate.
